- Number of Observations on the Upper Texas Coast (UTC) line graph
- This filter uses the AKN eBird dataset, the state and county filters, and data union and data splitter components to show data from the 8 Upper Texas Coast (UTC) counties (Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Jefferson, Liberty, and Waller).

- Average Counts on the Upper Texas Coast (UTC)
- This filter uses the AKN eBird dataset, the state and county filters, and data union and data splitter components to show average counts on checklists from the 8 Upper Texas Coast (UTC) counties (Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Jefferson, Liberty, and Waller).

- copy of Pacific Coast Migration
- Pick your species and see it migrate along the states/provinces of the pacific coast (Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and California).
Things to look for: 'bumps' of birds moving up and down the coast, larger flock sizes at the beginning of fall migration versus later on, species that winter in California versus those that go further south, the fact that eBird always can use more data, et cetera, et cetera. - Marshall Iliff — Apr 13, 2010 at 1:25 PM

- Species Info for any county in US (Traveling and Stationary Counts < 4 hours)
- The user selects the state, county and species. The results returns histogram that only includes traveling counts and stationary counts less than four hours in duration.

- Crossing Boundaries - scatter plot example
- [NOTE: This example uses an old version of Crossing Boundaries components, so it cannot be copied.]
This example shows how to combine two different types of data for a set of regions (species richness and region areas) into a single data stream that can shown in a scatter plot. This lets you see the \"correlation\" between the two types of data. - Paul Allen — Sep 25, 2009 at 8:18 AM

- Compare weekly high counts for two species in a single county
- This pipe is designed so that you can compare the high counts for two species in a single county. You select the species and the county.

- Bar chart - Compare two species
- This bar chart compares the total number of birds reported within the specified date range for the specified county/state. You pick the two species and the date range. Make sure the date range is the same for both species.

- Tufted Titmouse Average Count for Three States
- To compare with the chickadee chart. I used a related species to take care of the combined species data problem with that graph. Also like chickadee graph stationary counts only used to get better idea of how many are together in a group.
Further north, there still is a trend for flock size to be greater in Winter than in Summer, but the trend is not as strong as it was for the chickadees.
Oh, another thing, most of these counts are feeders... maybe in harsher winter environments they are willing to tolerate each other more at feeders? But why in Florida does the size seem to decrease in winter and increase in summer?
Seriously people, I'm trying to get into grad school... I wish I could do a paper on this... maybe I should, for my portfolio? - Angela Petersen — Mar 25, 2010 at 7:35 PM

- Hawks in Collin County, Texas - Pie Chart
- Under construction. This pie chart should compare the relative proportion of two species of hawks in the given state/county.

- Crossing Boundaries - pie chart example
- [NOTE: This example uses an old version of Crossing Boundaries components, so it cannot be copied.]
This is a very simple example using the species found in ecoregions in and around New York. It computes the overall species richness for each region and displays the results in a pie chart. - Paul Allen — Aug 20, 2010 at 1:07 PM
